Parker SRX Shavette Review

So I have had the pleasure of acquiring and using the Parker SRX shavette for 3 weeks now, paired with a Gillette Nacet blade (known for its mild and forgiving nature).

First shave in a month!

Boy it's good to be back, with a nice, clean shaven face at the end of a long month without shaving. The main aim was to see how full I could grow a well maintained beard, and I must say that I surprised myself.

I own a 1954 Gillette Fatboy DE razor, and it is one of my most prize possessions. The overall aesthetic of the razor, weight ratio, the finish, the adjustment and TTO mechanism intrigue me, and every time I use it, I get an extremely smooth, BBS and irritation free shave.

This wild find is a great one, and adds to my collection of vintage safety razors, which are my favorite when it comes to collecting and / or acquiring safety razors. It's the aesthetic they give when you look at them, hold them and overall, shave with them.
