Lush Five O'Clock Whistle Shaving Smoothie First Shave Review

My partner and I were walking down the lane-way of our local shopping centre, when we came upon a store called "Lush". It is a handmade cosmetics store, with products invented in England, and made in Australia. They specialise in making all sorts of vegan shaving soaps, body and hand soaps and creams. I happen to have found some cool products in their shop, and namely one that I will be reviewing today called a "Shaving Smoothie" - Five O'Clock Whistle.

First Shave in a while!

I benefit been shaving as of late because I am growing and maintaining a beard in between shaves. For the last 3 months, I have tended to grow out a beard, maintain it, and then shave it completely off when I've had enough.

This time, I thought I'd maintain the beard and shave my neck and cheeks with the Gillette Black Beauty razor I purchased some months back from Belgrade. You do find some great pieces on eBay and this is no exception. It is immaculate!

Today I shaved with one of my favorite shave dreams, Crabtree & Evelyn Lime and used it's accompanying post shave moisturiser. I also used one of my favorite blades, the Gillette Nacet and paired it with the Hydra aftershave tonic from Dr Jon's. So really it's a lemon themed shave which was refreshingly fantastic.

Overall, it was a great way to start the weekend.

So I said I'd do a review on this razor, and I must say that it's one that I needed to do. This thing is just a work of art to look at.

A very good shave - Feather Artist Club SS Shavette

I know it's probably said more often than not, but my goodness, did I ever have an excellent shave with the Feather Artist club SS shavette!? This thing has only confirmed to me, after the last 4 weeks of beard shaping and neck and cheek shaving, that it is worth of probably being the best shaver in my whole collection.

Parker SRX Shavette Review

So I have had the pleasure of acquiring and using the Parker SRX shavette for 3 weeks now, paired with a Gillette Nacet blade (known for its mild and forgiving nature).
